Hi, I'm Kylie, the proud owner of Your Beauty Bar. With over 25 years of experience in retail, I've always been drawn to fashion, makeup and skincare.
Previously, I ran a luxe activewear and casual daywear boutique in Port Hedland, Western Australia. After selling that business, my family and I relocated to Secret Harbour, Western Australia. While balancing family life and my husband's FIFO job, I continued my passion as a mobile makeup artist.
Opening Your Beauty Bar has always been my dream. When the perfect space became available in August 2019, I knew it was the right time to make it a reality. After a thorough renovation, we proudly opened our doors in November 2019 in Golden Bay.
Over the next 3.5 years, we outgrew that space and found an even better location in the Singleton Shopping Centre, Karnup. This new space is three times larger, allowing us to accommodate our expanding makeup workshops and lessons.
My passion extends beyond just running a boutique; I strive to create a welcoming space where women can come to feel good about themselves, just as they are.

I’m a freelance makeup artist based in the Singleton Shopping Centre, Karnup, Western Australia.
My interest in makeup artistry began long before my career in makeup. I trained with Erin Shaw Makeup Academy and have experience in stage, editorial bridal and special event makeup.
I love working with a wide range of products and have experience with Made By Mitchell, Makeup by Mario, MAC, Laura Mercier, Makeup Forever, Dior, Fenty Beauty, Charlotte Tilbury, Nars, Estee Lauder, Huda Beauty, Anastasia Beveryly Hills, Kosas Cosmetics, Jeffery Star, Kylie Cosmetics, Tarte Cosmetics, Urban Decay, Benefit, Napoleon, Smashbox and many, many more. Updating and adding to my extensive makeup collection for your special event makeup needs makes me super happy!
My makeup style is natural glam. This means I like to keep my base makeup natural and flawless looking, accentuating each client’s individual beauty. I combine this by recommending different colours and tones which will make my clients eye colour POP!
Listening to my clients' individual needs and desires allows me to customise each makeup application, ensuring they feel special and beautiful. This personalised approach is at the heart of my vision for Your Beauty Bar.
